Hi every body.
I was just wondering if any of you listen to sports online and what is the URL you use. I am interested in listening to sports online instead of on the radio cause where I live, the reception isn't that great and I get a lot of statick. If you have any suggestions on a site, please let me know. I like all sports so any station you know of will be great. lol Hope I'm made sense.
Thank you for your help.

it depends what kind of sports you are in to. The nhl for example broadcasts all of there games subscription free at nhl.com or at most local radio affiliates that stream online, use vtuner.com or billsparks.org to look for local sports or news/talk stations in the area you want to listen to.
Also things like nascar are supost to be pay only, but I have a couple espn radio feeds in my bookmarks that don't shut down there free streaming for nascar races, like they should.

i love listening to the nhl online, plus its free...All the other sports have paid services, though the MLB one is pretty cheap and easy to use...i have subscriptions to the Fulham and Arsenal audio feeds so I can hear their matches online. Right now, Charlton is the only Prem side to offer all games audio online for free.

that's interesting about the stations that broadcast nascar for free.
I'd be interested in gettging those links since I've had difficulties dealing with the online streaming since you have to go through the track pass.

i find bbc 5 live in the uk to be very good for broadcasting live sporting events, y'know the bbc they are always good at whatever they do , and always accessible, i reccomend them very highly

that only works if you're in the UK (or can come up with a UK IP), because otherwise you hear that due to broadcasting rights, this program is only available to those in the UK, ugh!

I listen to the New York Mets on the MLB site. You do have to ay for it but like someone said it is cheap it is just 14:95 for the whole season

The NBA's Audio League Pass isn't bad for it's price; it's $19.95 for the entire 82-game season, and includes both home and away game station streams for every night's set of games. The playoffs are free.

Oh please can you private me in on the nascar site? they don't put the races on the radio here. I use the baseball sight $15 for the year and you get every team. that's not a bad deal.

Hello Lazy. I tried checking out the site you gave but didn't really understand how to work it that well. Do I have to listen while the game is in progress or is there also archive of games too? Either way would be great for me because we canciled our cable and not all the games are available for me now. I'm sort of hard up financially so am really interested in this site if I can get it to work. winamp opens up and sometimes realplayer too but nothing plays. I try listening to a redsox game I missed tonight but it didn't work. Please get back to me on this. Thanks.

I've been subscribing to mlb.com for I think six years now, and $14.95 is not unreasonable for the season, and you do have access to every team and the archive of all the games. I didn't find sports.yahoo.com very easy to use in the past, which is a shame because I'd like to find a good place to access college football.
